When was the last time you belly laughed with your kids?! Hopefully it was yesterday!! Or today!! Kids keep things real!! I’ve always wanted my kids to get to know ME, not just as mom... but as “Audrey.” I want them to know what makes me laugh and what makes me cry. I want them to know what inspires me and excites me. I want them to know me. The real me, not just the lady that tells them what to do. .

One of the greatest gifts is getting to know them and understand and appreciate and love their distinct personalities. I also love seeing them make each other laugh....... like right here, even though it’s at MY expense, all my kids (husband included) were laughing at me!! Alex (pictured) was saying that I was doing my “instagram smile,” not my real one! What!!?? So he started imitating me and well...... laughter exploded from everyone. .

But in all honesty, I just love this photo that my husband caught. I may have been the butt of the joke, but it was so funny to see them all join in and laugh!! This is the beauty of life for me, to hear that happiness and laughter!! .
