I would buy a big dresser and put a changing station on top of it. You can get them at walmart for $100. Cheaper then buying them separate or a fancy one

I used my changing table everytime I changed my sons diaper until he became too big and over powering. It was really convenient for me.

I’d just buy a crib that has a changing table connected to it already

I feel like changing tables are so pointless. I was gonna buy one and so glad I didn’t. When your in the house you’ll start changing your baby everywhere you won’t even wanna get up to walk into the room to the changing table just to change the baby lol

A dresser is better because when they are old enough you just take changing pad off and they can put their own decorations in there

I did a changing table for our house. And got a portable one for around the house ( I'm not changing him on my bed, couch, etc). However, I think buying a new one is a waste. I spent $10 on one from the Facebook marketplace which came with a changing pad and some cloth cubes for storage. To me that's worth the cost, not $100-200.

I ended up getting a dresser with changing area on the top. Just seems kind of pointless to have a piece of furniture for only that, and can't use it for a long time unlike a dresser:)

We waited too long to get a dresser (got it after she was born) so for the first few weeks we changed her on a towel in case she peed mid change. Then we got a changing pad but have left it on the floor ever since. Lol. It’s more convenient for us. Plus you know she isn’t going to roll off and hurt herself. But whatever works for you! 😊

I would get a nice dresser and if you want a changing table get a cheap one. The dresser should stick all throughout he baby’s childhood where the changing table will only be used the first 2 years give or take. We put our changing pad on our dresser, but this time I want a cheap (probably second hand) changing table. I wouldn’t get a combo- they are expensive and your growing child probably won’t want a changing table look on top of his dresser.

@amysbabies I was going to get a nice dresser so they can use it threw out their childhood, cause the ones with the changing table on top are either expensive/wont last or like you said who wants the changing table there when the baby grew ); the dresser I'm getting can have changing station you can buy to put on top.. which is good because then the weight limit is better than the cheaper changing tables I was looking and and it was significantly longer, but I feel like when she's older if she starts "fighting" being changed itd be easier to do it on the floor or bed instead cause sadly years fly anyway 😔
