Any ladies who had induction at 37 weeks? Please share your stories and the reason xx

I was induced at 37 weeks for reduced movements... I was in labour for 3 days and was pushing for 2 hours it ended in a emergancy c section but if I never had the c section it all would of been perfect x

@abbyrose, thank you for your reply. I was told I might need induction in 9 days because the baby weighs 100 grams than expected. It’s a big shock to me and I’m worried how my body would react to this xx

I havnt been induced at 37 but I have at 38 and 39 .... 38 was the pessary and took 4 days cervix’s wasn’t ready hence y it took so long 39 weeks they popped my waters and only took 3 hours xx

I’m getting induced again at 39 weeks think I would prefer it to any earlier but it’s what’s best for u and baby hun x

@liya.bowie aww don't be worried it will be fine, I was scared but I really enjoyed it all, you will have your baby in your arms soon xx

@abbyrose, yeah hopefully. Thank you very much. Just worried that there would be complications. I wouldn’t want c section, to be honest

I was induced at 37 weeks, a month ago today xx

I was induced with Olivia at 36+6 weeks. At the time they thought she had 1 kindey, enlarged bowel, reduced blood flow through cord, ectopic heart beat & she was growing too small. I was in at 12pm, had the pessary put in at 2:45pm & she was born at 8:08pm. She was born in her waters because I dilated stupidly fast (midwife was convinced I wasnt in Labour the whole time).

I went into shock following Labour due to the speed, my whole body was shaking & I couldn't stop crying! But other then that no problems or complications & we were home the next evening x

@liya.bowie it's just something you can't predict hun but something you have to have in the back of your head it can happen. Hopefully it won't though xx
