So I’m schedule for a csection on the 19th and I’ll be 41+1weeks.. but doc says baby may be really small. This is me today at 40 weeks do I look small for being this far along? I’m concerned now. I’m a FTM

@leroydoom, yup you can’t tell by the size of the bump. Babies can be more towards your back.

I was about that size with my first and she was 6lb 10oz 20 in

Every pregnancy is different. If you’re a FTM that’s to term then what’s with the C section?

Just because you look small doesn’t mean baby will be small. It all depends on your body. I was tiny like that at 39 weeks 4 days with my first and he was the biggest out of my 4.
Everyone’s body is different and everyone carries differently . I size of the stomach may not always be an indication of the size of the baby. The more accurate way is to measure the baby via ultrasound . Also healthy babies come in all sizes .. if you are more petite your baby may be smaller as well. Try not to worry(even though I know it’s easier said than done). I’m sure baby is fine ☺️
