I'm really hoping to have a successful VBAC for this final pregnancy. I've gotten to experience natural birth and a c-section. The recovery for the c-section was 10 times worse.
@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma My doctor already gave me the greenlight to try a VBAC. I just hope my body cooperates. Living in a 2 story house isn't going to make c-section recovery easy this time around.
My first was a csection, it really does suck when it comes to recovery. Since you managed to have a natural birth before, you should be OK to try for a vbac. Communication is key with your doctor. My doctor wanted me to have a rcs from the start but I talked to him about my preferences and concerns, and tomorrow morning I'm going in to be induced in hopes for a successful vbac but if it doesn't work I still have the rcs scheduled for friday morning.
@wvmommy no that definitely won't help. My body doesn't like to cooperate with me so that's why I'm attempting induction tomorrow. It seems like my body is doing more this time around so maybe I'll get lucky and have a smooth labor tomorrow
