My SO had planned to take me out for my birthday this Saturday. I’m talking sitter and all. He had asked his mom about a week as a half ago if she would watch Dakota and then this morning he tells me she’s no longer watching her because she’s decided to go to Biltmore. So now I don’t have a sitter because my mom works Saturday, Dakotas Godmother lives 3 hours away, and my other friend that I’d trust to leave her with is in a different state on vacation. 😩 never fails that someone backs out on me. I wouldn’t be as upset if she would’ve mentioned that it was possible she’d be busy but she was like yeah I’m not doing anything and then now she has plans. Ugghhhhh 😭😭😭😭

Happy birthday! Sorry this happened hun! You have to get you some backup sitters. I own a childcare referral agency and we thoroughly screen our providers for education, criminal and driving records. Many families use only our back-up services for situations like these. I'm sure there are some in your area.

@newlyironman, she babysits her other grand daughter even if the parents are just going to the grocery store yet she’s only kept mine maybe a handful of times in the entire 17 months 🙄

That’s how mine is. Mine never go anywhere. They’re with me 24/7. They go camping with my dad sometimes but that’s it.

@damn.it.red, mine is with me 24/7 too. She has stayed with my mom a couple of times but most of them were because my mom asked to keep her or I was sick
