Had toothache since last week went the dentist yesterday to be told its a root canal treated tooth with infection n now needs extracting. Got home n sophie jumped on me bashing my jaw.. thought i was going to die from the pain.. n woke up with a jaw like desperate dan today..
Any ideas what will help with the swelling other than ice n ibrofen?xx

As @vixster, clove oil is brilliant! Hope it gets sorted soon. I’d rather do 100 labours than deal with tooth pain 🙈

I doubled up on my antibiotics the pain is bearable now, its just the massive swelling to my jaw/cheek which is uncomfortable. I darent leave the house coz one side of my face looks like the elephant man. Will dentinox or powders help with the swelling?

I had the exact same happen to me last October. Got an emergency appointment with the dentist and he wanted to book me in the next day to get it sorted but I was going into be induced 🙈 had to go through the whole induction and labour (which ended in an emergency csection) with my face looking like I had been punched. The antibiotics do work wonders. X

Ask before you use it but Orajel is great stuff. Doesn't last long but numbs the area so gives you a little relief.
