So my last labor experience was no fun... they believe I had a seizure / faint while I pushed.... my blood pressure got high... I was totally fine up until I got the epidural... could it have been that it was the epidural that made me get like that? I’ve had it before and it didn’t happen... anyone else experience something similar ?

Maybe they didn't see preeclampsia? Or hypertension? Epidural are known to cause a drop in bp though, not rise.

@kambam, yeah.. they probably missed it, they never took my urine my last pregnancy just measured my bp.. and it was always fine.. this time around I’m taking baby aspirin.. and they started taking my urine to check for protein.. but so far bps have been fine..

That's crazy . And your urine is fine? You can push for a specialist to meet with you and discuss this. I would be kinda terrified but every pregnancy is different. I hope it goes well for you this time.

@kambam, up until now yes.. Ive actually been going to see the specialist... and they say everything is good so far 😏 hopefully it doesn’t happen again.. it sucks 😩 but thank you!
