Thoughts on date night when you've had a baby? My mom is very "I never palmed my children off onto anyone for a night out, you just go without" . So she won't take lightly to baby sitting, but I'd like something a bit more substantial than a couple of hours down the pub I want a full on date night restaurant, drinks, a dance

I find a date night to be very important! Just because we’re now parents, doesn’t mean we can’t have time as just a couple. I find it to be a very important part of keeping a relationship strong

If you have someone who can watch baby then go for it. Your Mother has very old fashioned views. It's not palming your kids off on others if they want to watch them. A date night every now and then is perfectly healthy.
