They don't class as a baby till they're 1 with the council x

Also what you class as overcrowded they probably won't. Google will help on what they class. I had a friend who moved back to her mum's. Her bros was also there. 3bed house. An herself her husband and 2 kids.

Also they have rules of if you have a dining room that is classed as a bedroom etc it's bloody mental.

Opposite sex children can share rooms until the oldest is 10yr old

To get anywhere you physically have to be homeless.

And they don't like it if you've put yourself in that position I.e you given up a rented property.

Depending on your council and situation it can be difficult, baby doesn't usually count as an extra person until 6 months or 1 year old as they don't need a bedroom until then. We were living with my partners dad and he wrote to the council saying he wanted us out and even then we were still looking at over a year or two wait for a house. We ended up going private in the end x

My mum has a 3 bed council house and as me and my brothers have all moved out she’s looking to downsize to a 1 bed flat. She’s already been waiting over a year to be given a bidding number and she’s got a house that would suit a family. It’s all nuts because she’s holding up someone who wants a house.
