🌈 Victoria is my baby. She’s the caboose to the McClelland pack. I had prayed and wished and hoped for another baby for months. Not many people know this, but she’s a rainbow baby. I miscarried in July of 2012 and was devastated. My husband had just gone through surgery in January of that year because a tumor was discovered in his abdomen that was cancerous. He had started a chemo pill that spring that he would be on for 4 years. Finding out I was pregnant that summer was a blessing... and then losing that pregnancy was really tough for me. It was the toughest time of my life, just trying to stay strong and keep it all together. .

Then on Halloween of 2012 I found out I was pregnant again! I can’t describe the need and want of my pregnancy with Victoria. She was the answer to so many prayers, I needed this little baby... more than she knew! .

My little girl is 5 today! She’s my best girl, my best friend, the best parts of both me and my husband. Tonight as we celebrated her and laughed and danced and twirled... I just held onto her tight. My girl! The one that was meant to be. This photo isn’t anything ultra special... it’s even a little blurry... but it’s me and my girl in a real moment. Life is a beautiful thing... ! 🎉💕
