Why not set up an alarm system?

Not long after we moved into our house, we had a security system installed. Even though we had protective dogs and I have a gun, I felt safer with the ability to have an alarm company notify police of an emergency. My husband was a truck driver and gone most nights, and having the advanced heads up if a door opened allowed me the peace of mind to know I should be able to get my kids(oldest two were only two at the time) into my room and safe.

Is his an option for you? Or the window and door alarms that make noise when contact is broken?

@cajuncateral, @floralfairy, @boosienana, @caffeine.fiend, I walked around my house until 4am this morning with my gun in hand security company claims the earliest they could come set up is Thursday so there’s that I had an alarm at my last house i guess i got too comfortable with it

Security cameras give me bad anxiety, just the thought of seeing someone on the camera as well in the home panics me😥
