I would buy one box of nursing pads (or a set of reusable cotton pads if that's your thing) and a box of storage bags. My favorite are Lansinoh. They have never broken for me. I wouldn't stock up on breastfeeding items. Same as I don't stock up on diapers or wipes. You will find that you will like some products better than others.

I just picked up a couple of boxes of storage bags at Baby’s R Us when they were half off.

I also bought both reusable and disposable nursing pads.

I registered for some nipple cream.

I went to Aeroflow.com to help with going through my insurance to get my free breast pump.

I really like the way Walmart’s breast pads feel when using them some feel rough these don’t. I also love their bags as well.

@penelope127 yes i also did the pump threw my insurance! I got to call and find out what kind i picked i don't remember.. Omg yes nipple cream i didn't even think of that thank you so much!
