My cheeks are super red and I’m still very itchy all over my body. Doctor told me to take Benadryl…

@ajowens1547, not sure my hands and cheeks are more itchy than any other part of my body.

I saw you said they gave you medicine for contractions? Maybe you're having a reaction?

@ajowens1547, the nurse said no that it would have happened right after the first shot not hours later.

The more you Take the benadryl the more it will calm down the reaction. So one dose may not help but if you take it every 6 hrs it should slowly help the itching.

@melissa_luv228, I have been taking Benadryl since yesterday when I was in the hospital and since I’ve been out and the itching hasn’t gone away it’s just been getting worse

@juliam27 I would go back since the allergic reaction symptoms are increasing and your still contracting right?

I was like that for about a week it was the worst
