Got kept in the hospital for another night 😣 baby maddie wasn't eating enough, constantly falling asleep on the boob or with bottles in her mouth 😣 and nobody guided me on how to keep her awake during feeds or told me how much enough actually was, so she was under fed yesterday 😣 finally had the midwifes come in and show me everything tonight. She's a slow feeder and a sleepy one but we're finally getting somewhere tonight. Just gotta keep stripping her off to keep her awake and tickling her during feeds. ❤

Oh bless her it won’t help it’s really warm and after birth there always sleepy because the whole birthing process is so tiring. You’ll both get there and hopefully be home soon x

@rachaellw learning curves. Yeah I've never met such a sleepy baby. It worried me at first but I think your right, the whole thing must have knackered her out x

@clarelushx, no one warns you about the things like this, and when they happen it takes you off guard. Is she jaundice? That can make them sleep too x

@rachaellw they mentioned jaundice to me yesterday, saying she could be. And yeah nobody warns you at all. If someone had have come to me yesterday and explained this I wouldn't have had to stay another night. Glad I did though because the midwife has actually taught me how to go about it and shown me what to do so it's worth it x
