Ok ladies tell me everything you know about cloth diapering. I'm interested in trying it with our next baby. What are some good brands? Do they really save money? Any tips/advice? Thanks!

I was spending $100 a month on disposable diapers and wipes if baby is in diapers for the typical 2 years that’s $2400. I’ve spent about $450 or so on my diaper stash (which is definitely more then a minimal stash). I love them such cute prints, clear up my daughters eczema breakout, no diaper rash. My favorite brands I’ve tried so far are Grovia Ones and Thirstys all natural. I also really like happybeehinds, alva and mama koala if you’re looking for something more affordable. I suggest YouTube to find out what may and may not work for you, and fluffloveuniversity.com for a wash routine.

If you do get them there are cloth diapers that you can keep adjusting to grow with your baby instead of always buying them bigger and bigger

You can check out cloth diapering 101 on YouTube.. which will give you a run down of all the different styles of cloth diapers that are available... ie pockets, all in ones, fitted etc.
Then also check out fluffloveuniversity.com
It's a great resource when you're first starting out. They have a washing machine index that will give you washing directions tailored to your exact washing machine.
They also have a detergent index which explains which detergents are better for hard or soft water and a diaper cream index which tells you which creams are cloth safe.
My advice is to buy a small amount of different styles and brands of cloth diapers. Then buy your stash only after you figure out what works best for you. Babies are different and what worked best for my baby and family might not work for you. For example I have some friends that swear by bumgenuis pockets and I personally think my China cheapie Alvas and Sunbabys work much better for my kid.
