Curious about this. We are planning on having a gender reveal October 5th with my family. My husband wants to find out the gender when we go September 12th and reveal it to our friends and family. I also am dying to find out. My sister thinks if the parents find out before the reveal it makes a gender reveal party pointless and less fun because the parents won't be surprised. (She wants to set up the gender reveal for us and surprise us and everyone else) what is your opinion on this? Do you think its only fun to do a gender reveal if the parents don't know or do you think its fun either way?

@sadie.w That's what we think to we want to find out and not tell anyone that we found out. Lol with our first we didn't find out until the reveal this time we really want to know. I feel like the point of the reveal is coming to find out/celebrate the gender no matter who shares it. 💁

I Think it would be fun either way but the surprise and the look/ reaction from you and your SO would make it even more special in my opinion

We revealed to our friends and family but already knew. It was still so fun and exciting! I wanted to find out privately with my husband at an ultrasound seeing our baby. There were too many family members who wanted to be first to know so I was just like no this is getting difficult let’s just plan a party and tell everyone at the same time. It is what YOU want! Don’t do something bc someone else wants it another way. This is about you and your baby!!
