So 3 months ago I got my iud checked out for bleeding since the day I got it till even after my apt. Then finally I had stopped and got my first period last week for 5 days but then two days later I bled again for one day stopped then two days later again and it keeps happening is this normal I’m getting worried my husband thinks that it’s not working with my body and wants it removed but we can’t afford it

I had it after my daughter and i remember having a period that lasted a long time then i just didnt get periods anymore after that. The iud worked great for me i have my appointment next wendsday to get another one. If your worried just let your doctor know your worries can be put to rest after a doctor reasures you.

I’ve had mine for a lil short of a year. I did have some spotting at 1st, but after the first 6months everything stopped even my period. I just get real moody at the time when my period would come.
