Does everyone have their babies rooms done? I don’t have a room for my baby because we’re renting it…

We have it started. We have the crib up, but waiting until closer to my due date to start unpacking and assembling some of the other stuff we got.

@annadoran09, if you guys are looking for a new place I wouldn’t buy anything until you moved. Otherwise that’s just more stuff you have to move.

Start searches on Facebook Marketplace to watch when things get put up second hand. The one thing I wouldn’t get second hand is a car seat. It might look ok, but you don’t know how the previous owner handled it.

@annadoran09, I have stuff my brothers giving me but nothing is set up because I still have he spare room set up for guests and he has to bring it 2 hours out of the way. I have a pack and play set up in the living room in the event my LO makes an early appearance. But that’s it. It has a bassinet attachment on top and a changing table on top so it’s kinda the best of all worlds right now

I don't have a room for the baby, his bassinet is in our room which is basically the living room. We have a small 1 bedroom apartment and my 2 year old has the bedroom.

I still have to move. I’m in a small apartment right now.... I’m trying to be done within a month though

Don’t worry with my first we had her room all set up and guess what? She never actually used it (except to play) until a few months after 2 😂- it was a glorified storage/play room. You can totally set up a corner of your living room aside (no matter how small, move some furniture) to set some of baby’s things out/up and use your closet for baby’s clothes (maybe get a plastic bin drawer to place inside) and then in your bedroom just have the sleeping area, whether it’s a bassinet, pack and play, rock and play, cosleeper or crib!

To answer your question though- we have started on baby’s room, I deep cleaned it yesterday and got some of my daughter’s old baby stuff out. Just waiting for my daughter’s bed to arrive so we can use her crib (set like a toddler bed now) in baby’s room.

Trust me though- there is to pressure or rush, just find a little corner and make it baby’s.

We don't have a room for our baby either bc we have my mom staying with us to help and be nanny. So we just made a nursery corner. Make do with what ya got! The babes doesn't need much!

We are lucky our bedroom is big enough for this stuff, honestly
