My electric double pump was finally delivered today and I am SO excited to finally see how much milk I am actually making. I was using a hand pump for 45 minutes and getting an ounce on a good day. With this pump I'm getting 3 ounces from each breast so far. Any tips on upping supply? (I have the Mothers Milk tea which I need to get back on track with..)

@bitchcraft I didn't know that! The lactation consultant made it seem like the best thing ever made so I got just as excited lmao. They we're worried she wasn't getting enough and recommend formula to "top her off" but I really don't want that! So I'm like feeding and pumping around the damn clock like a cow!

Milk is being produced at all times, with speed of production depending upon how empty the breast is. Milk collects in you’re breasts between feedings, so the amount of milk stored in the breast between feedings is greater when more time has passed since the last feed. The more milk in the breast, the slower the speed of milk production, to make more milk empty each breast completely with added pumping sessions ...
I would breast feed then pump after words and that would be my stash ..
