@honeyxxbee there are circumstances where they can filaize it before yougive birth, my divorce was finalized last month because they rebutted the marital presumption due to him not being in the U.S. for over 4 years. You just gotta tell them right away so they can take the right steps and investigate. My dumbass wanted to hide it but then couldnt lie under oath and they had to make a new courtdate

I got divorced in Texas. My X refused to sign the paperwork and never showed up to court. We had to wait 90days after the court date to go back to court and the courts gave me the divorce. I did do everything thru a lawyer.

@laniejay yes I know call me stupid. Your probably saying why just now are you wanting ro get divorced if you had many of yrs to do so. But i didnt have money at the time and couldn't work i was helping my mom take care of my sick grandfather but now that he has passed im working now and want to do this.

@honeyxxbee i already have kids I know that i have to send off a paternity paper and they have to do something to prive that he isnt the father or something like that. I had to get a dna test for my son for child support and Its going to come up obviously that mybex isnt the father. But I'm not pregnant

@laniejay girl i cant get an annulment its been 11 yrs. I should of done that a month after getting married now I'm stuck doing all this. I just hope they grant me it once its all over with. I just dont know where to start with all this damn paper work
