Might go file contempt chages on the grandparents monday. Theyve had the kids since last thursday…

Have there been other issues? Are they bad grandparents?

@laniejay their not bad grandparents but grandma thinks she can walk all over me and take advantage. Ive been more than leinient with her but she never reciprocates if i ask for an hour or 2 she has a fit but if i were to say no to her shed throw a whole fit and a half. Before this final court order i had written out a parenting plan that benefited both of us and pretty much said that she could get them whenever she asked ontop of offering her a certain amout of time monthly she gave me a big f.u and said she wanted this court order but she now expects me to deviate from it whenever she thinks i should but im not allowed to at all or she threatens me with her attorney

.. if this is her weekend then shouldn’t she keep them for the weekend? I mean that vacation was up to u to let them go n u did so jst bkz u let them go doesn’t mean it’s not her weekend anymore

@monkeysalwayswin if she were to have asked for them until monday thatd be fine.. She wanted this court order i offered an alternative she said f.u. she had a whole temper tantrum on fathers day (my weekend) because i took the kids to a car show before dropping them off. The order didnt state a drop off time just said that they could spend time with grandpa that day until 630 but the kicker of it says they were to be returned by 630 that night but i allowed yhe boys to stay the night. Mypoint is that its okay for her to ask for extra time but if i do it then the world is ending.

Why do they have rights if you don’t mind me asking?

This order is written poorly to be honest. If she asked her attorney and he felt it was theirs, I’d give it one chance. Text her and ask about drop off today. If she says she’s keeping them just remind her. If she fights you and doesn’t return- then go to court.

@marielovely @klazaro This is technically my weekend. I got them 2 weekends in a row because of the switch for the Vaction. The 23rd was supposed to be her weekend but judge ordered it to me. Then her weekend became the 30th so this weekend would be back to my weekend. I posted a pic of the C.O

@laniejay its a long story, ive hated this court order from the begining thats why i wanted to settle outside of court and leave room for flexibility. She was unwilling to be flexible at all so this is where we stand. Im stuck between a rock and a hard place constantly because if i tell her no to something when its "my time" she'll have a fit and get the kids involved which messes with them so im pretty much obligated to say yes so that way i dont hurt my kids or make them feel bad. Shell have the kids call me and ask if they can stay the night ect. And if i said no shed tell them that im just being mean ect even tho its not even close to why i said no.

@marielovely im a very flexible person all she ever has to do is ask and 9/10 times i say yes. I know it makes the kids happy so i usually let it slide but now she just thinks she can do whatever without even asking. Or making the kids ask which is pissing me off

@klazaro this is the first time shes not following the order ... i wanna let it go but idk if i can because if the roles were switched shed be calling her attorney and filing contempt as fast as she can. Shes threatened me with her attorney on fathers day because i said id drop the kids off from 1-630 and she wanted them right away in the morning
