Food stamps take into account your bills as well when doing the income calculations. So if you're bills add up to a certain amount of your income you could be eligible. (I'm in NJ, not sure if all states are the same) I would apply for both anyway, it doesn't take long and the worst they can say is no.
I work 2 full time jobs and get both 👋 Wics income threshold is real high. Min wage here is 7.25 so even with 2 full tome jobs after taxes I only bring home $500 a week sometimes $600. With 5 kids I claim im well under the $2800 a month gross they allow for my family size.
I live in upstate NY. Working full time I couldn't get food stamps, working part time I was able to get food stamps and they say if you qualify for food stamps you automatically qualify for WIC. For a while I had both.
If you are in need of food and having trouble qualifying- look up different charities in your area. At least where I live there are a few places anyone can go and pick up a bag of groceries- no questions asked. Typically churches host this. I haven’t needed to, but it is so nice to know that you can get help even if you don’t qualify for certain programs. Sure you don’t choose your food, but it’s food :). Also our public schools host meals for toddler up to age 18 during the summer- they don’t want any child to go hungry and know it can be hard for parents to provide.

Not me but my sister also has wic but not food stamps. I think wic has a pretty high income threshold but ebt does not
