Okay guys question.... my six year old had asked me what he could do around the house to make money…

Sounds like an amazing kid. It's great to teach Kids to earn their toys. Our kids are too young but my friend and neighbor has 7. Her oldest is a 14 year old girl, 11 year old boy, 9 year old girl, etc. All 2 years apart and only 1 boy. The oldest three always work for us to get money for their things. My husband just had two of them clean the adhesive off his car window(removed old tint, prepping for new). They got a $25 gift card for Amazon. Ive had them pull weeds, they each got $20. Logan got $10 for spraying weeds. Madeline got $50 for watching Athena 3 hours when I delivered Cassie. Just have him do things around the house you need and you know he can handle.

My kids help around the house and they get rewards even my two year old help( willingly he throws a fit to do it I don’t make him) but cleaning up after themselves dealing with there dishes after meals cleaning there spot of the table picking up there own clothes putting there own clothes away dishwasher sweeping sometimes and my 2 year unloads the silverware and helps vacuum and of course they pick up there own toys

My 7yr old makes her own bed and help separate her clothes and puts them away where they belong. As chores I’ll give her a dollar to help me sweep, mop, put away dishes. She does a horrible job and I don’t push on it because she’s 7. But she always ends up really happy with her dollar and has a piggy bank with her own money.

My 6 year old earns stickers. He picks what prize he wants to earn next and then I decide how many stickers he needs to get in order to get that prize. He doesn't have a specific chore list he needs to do... he just gets stickers if/when he does something. Then at that moment, I decide how many stickers he gets for the job. He will get like one sticker for feeding the cats and dogs, but the amount he gets for cleaning up his toys in the family room may vary depending on how big of a mess it was.

My neice does dishes and folds clothes and all. I'm gonna have my mother in law show me how she taught her how to do that by that age. Lol

When you take the trash out, he can put a new liner in. If you have stairs and have a handheld mini vacuum, he can crawl up the stairs vacuuming, as others said- responsible for his room, he can put his clothes in the laundry and take out of the dryer- even help fold (even if it’s just matching socks and undershirts). Even clean the baseboards of your house. Obviously he wouldn’t do all of these things every day, just some ideas :).
