Miya is the same way she loves to be held, especially of its bed time. I start feeding her at 6:30, and then I walk around with her about 20 minutes and then I lay her down in her crib, turn on her lullabies, give her binky and she usually falls asleep by herself.🙏🏼🙏🏼

Does he do naps in his crib? If not, start with that for a few days. Then do the regular bedtime routine but use his crib.

Does she sleep through the night after you’ve put her down?! 😳 Has she been sleeping in her crib since day 1 though? 🙃 Bellamy eats every 3 hours starting from the time he wakes up every morning. He’s usually asleep by 8, but lately he’s been waking up for night feedings around 11-midnight. 😣 He’s been sleeping in his little napper since birth because he hated being in his crib and pack n’ play. According to his pedi, they were too big for him as a newborn. He’ll be 4 month next Friday, and we’re really considering trying to transition him into his crib, but just aren’t sure how to do it without making him cry it out. I hate the CIO method. 😣

@nomli, no, he doesn’t nap in his crib. His naps are usually in his little napper where he also sleeps that’s shown in the pictures. However, he’s already about 27 inches and clearly is outgrowing it. I’ll definitely try that though. Thank you!!😊💛

@miaheka when you start doing the day naps in the crib, try putting a shirt that smells like you under him and slowly do it at night as well when you get to the night stage.

I done this with my son and he has slept through the night after 2 weeks. We transitioned him at 5 months but he slept with us from birth till then.

@miaheka, no she just started to sleep in their without having to sleep with mommy, and she wakes at 4:00 to eat and that’s it. I occupy her so she doesn’t cry, like the lullabies station on my pandora is the most played station, she loves the music. So once I found something that soothes her, she sleeps in her crib.

Naps in crib are the way to start. Mia is almost 6 months old and has been sleeping through the night since 4 months. A bottle, her sound machine and her pacifier and she’s out from 9pm to 7am with only one feeding around 3 am.

We coslept in my bed from the day he was born to 5ish months old. He was waking up during the night and taking up the whole bed. Finally I had enough. I put him in his crib, and said I didn’t care how many times through the night I was going to wake up, cosleeping was enough. He’s slept through the night since that night 😂

He’s already around 27 inches, so we have no choice but to transition him to his crib. lol I wish it were that easy for me. Whenever I try putting him in his crib, he’ll stare at his mobile for 5 seconds and then start crying. 😣 Should I take it down since it seems to be a distraction? 😳

@miaheka, you can try it, worst case just put it back up! You can also try putting him in the crib already asleep? Idk how light of a sleeper he is but we’ve done that a few times.

Before he was old enough to hold the bottle himself, we would feed him in bed, and then put him in the crib when he was asleep.

I know your baby is only 3 months and Salem was older than that before we decided no more cosleeping so honestly I can only give you advice on what we did

My daughter sleeps in a bassinet but she’s getting too big for it . She will however take naps in her crib. I haven’t put her in her crib at night yet because I don’t have a baby monitor and if she wakes up at night I can’t hear her from

@oktoberwitch, He’s a pretty light sleeper, but if he’s being held for more than 30 minutes while asleep he wakes up all of a sudden. He hasn’t completely outgrown his bassinet yet, so we’ll probably wait another month or so to transition him into his crib. I just wanted some ideas to do it when the time comes so it’s not as rough as doing it cold turkey. I really appreciate all your advice, and time to help me out!!!💛💛💛☺️

@momofemersonbliss, He’s been okay with his bassinet since we got it a week after birth. It’s not exactly a bassinet, it’s called a napper, but it’s been perfect for him for the past 3 months since he wasn’t too fond of big spaces as a newborn. He wouldn’t even sleep in his pack n’ play either. 🙈🙃 I’m starting to think his sports mobile is the reason he won’t close his eyes when I try putting him in his crib. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@miaheka, maybe it’s too distracting? I use this highlight/projecter/white noise machine by skiphop and she loves it . It even has a heartbeat sound .

@momofemersonbliss, That’s what I’m thinking too, that it might be too distracting for him. I mean, I would be distracted too if I saw 4 different sports balls hanging over my head. 😂 His grandma got it for him, and I was against putting it up. Now I have a reason to take it down. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And awesome! Thank you so much, girl!! I’m definitely going to have to talk to my SO about getting one of those! 😊

@momofemersonbliss, lol it was liberating for me in California before I crashed into trash cans in front of my house...🙃 Haven’t driven since, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy it when you get your license! My boyfriend is in the process of getting his so we can do the same, go out and have family fun on his days off now that we have Bellamy. Before B. we used to just go to bars, and walk the city. 😂 I definitely feel you in the baby wearing thing though. Bellamy is already around 15 pounds and 27 inches. 😩 we don’t find out for sure till this next Saturday.

@momofemersonbliss, Awh!!! 💛 Bellamy didn’t cry at all. I was shocked to see him laugh afterwards. He was sore, and slept all day with an ounce more of feedings than usual in between.

@miaheka, she was hungry before they did the shots but they made us wait to feed her till after the shots so she could soothe with the bottle . She was sore too for a couple days .

@miaheka, I have the owl, my boy loves it.. u have options for different types or sounds like birds, ocean, etc. theres also a timer and volume. U can plug it in or use batteries. And it also has a moon & star light up display that shoots on the ceiling ..
