Any tips on burping baby at night without waking them? Seems impossible to me. Always seems to wake him up and hell be mad screaming cuz hes tired takes me about an hour and half to get him back to sleep if he does wake so honestly its bad but most times I dont burp him at night (sorry little one) i can tell it makes him uncomfortable and gives him more gas later but its better than having a screaming baby who is overtired cause he barely sleeps as it is. Either way I cant succeed though :/

@paige_1999 even during the day it takes him so long to burp like often wont come up until like 5 minutes later and the easiest way for me is if hes sitting up but obviously cant do that at night. It also seems to always have really big burps which also has a tendency to wake him just from the force of it, it almost hurts him to do it

@avianlouiebos have you tried giving him gas drops? It may help him burp more often. My ds didn't want to be burped after a feed after 4-5 months old as he already bet us to it.

@mummaof2 yea something bothers him cause he usually tosses and turns enough to wake himself up during the night and i have to rock him for hours

@avianlouiebos if you get a chance, go and see your local chemist and ask them about it. I'm from Australia and don't know if the brand names for gas drops are different in Canada or not.

I use ovol drops when Maddox is gassy. Works like a charm.
