UPDATE:
After waiting all night in the ER Tuesday for a D&C to then be sent home to await a second scan today, we finally have some answers. Unfortunately because they’ve left the retained products so long, we now have a massive ovarian abscess which is filled with infected fluid. Today’s scan was a blessing if unknown a D&C would have ruptured this abscess and I could have gone septic. Granted our OBGYN is concerned about the procedure because of my CSection scarring a perforation is a risk. The surgeon called me personally this evening and has assured me he will do his best to fix me up tomorrow in the OR.
