We took our 3.5 year old to see his first firework show on the 3rd. We had a great time. Packed up to leave. Night ended in gunfire right as we were crossing the street. Didn't expect that we would have to run and duck for cover. It's had a great effect on me since. 🙁 Thankfully, my son wasn't phased as he didn't understand what was going on. I didn't think it'd have this big of an impact on me though. 😩
