So tired of the doctors at the office saying "you're dilated but you're closed." When I went to the hospital on Sunday they just told me I was starting to dilate. Which one is it because right now I'm more inclined to believe they people at they hospital because the people at the office don't seem to know what they are doing. I just got he from my appointment and was not happy at all from the way we were treated and how rough they we're with everything. Neither was my husband.

Maybe the meant thinned but closed? Or they can stretch you to 1/2 or 1cm but just feeling it is closed.

They didn't say anything about thinking but when they do all they say is that it's really soft. But the dilation thing about saying its starting to dilate but it's closed they do Everytime they check. It's pissing both me and my husband off beyond words. I don't know if I would go back to this ob for another pregnancy.

@bay_73 I definitely feel that. I was told "I don't think you're going to make it to the next appointment" for 3 weeks. It gets tiring. It does however take forever to dilate without labor.

It’s just about your cervix getting soft. Those cervix checks don’t mean anything they don’t say how close you are to labor they don’t say how close baby is to coming nothing they just put you at risk of infection if I were in your shoes I wouldn’t be letting anyone check my cervix since it is 100% unnecessary
