Back story : While I was pregnant with Cody my husband bought me that infamous pink blanket. I absolutely loved that thing, it was perfect & never lost its softness after many, many washes. When he was younger, he’d confiscate my beloved blanket any chance he could lol. We would literally go back & forth “fighting” over it & taking it from one another. I don’t remember when I finally gave in, but here we are almost 6 years later. It really used to bother me to see my son with a bright ass pink blanket but I’ve grown to realize that it didn’t matter; it comforts him, and reminds him of me. Sometimes we still get caught up on the colors of different things & whether or not blue is a “boy” color or if pink or purple are “girl” colors blah blah blah.. Most of the time they gravitate toward those colors anyway, but in this instance my boy chooses pink every time lol 💗💕
