@mlynm90 well that is horrible im in the e.r with my daughter and it literally spread all over her body she was diagnosed with strep throat and they said most kids have a allergic reaction to it but it didnt look bad now this 5am she woke up with high fever and itchy all over im like shocked and atop of that she has a ulcer side of her mouth that looks like cold sore been putting medication on it and its crusting i thought was all that strep throat symptoms now i see is not and its worrying me she been going thru ao much this past 2 weeks
Both of my boys caught it when we came back to NC. Gave them Motrin for fevers and hydrocortisone for the itching. Nothing really you can do but let it run through her system. Afterward my sons started to peel from where the little red bumps were. Looks like the virus stays for about a week or two but the symptoms (or after effects) took about a month to clear. She will get better soon.
@thinkinpink i hope so cause i bought diff types of itchiness cream and since shes allergic of aspirin she cant take motrin or ibuprofen gotta give her tylenol sucks
@mlynm90 sry replying late my daughter was crying since 4am yesterday till like 1 pm non stop but she slept good last night still itchy yea i hope she does feel better and soon! Its horrible what kids go thru and theres nothing u can do but just use diff kinds of relief for it
