what cereals are best for Kai at 6months or any? don't want him just having toast etc all the time lol 😂
I know it's with the blue lid or full fat yoghurt!
@georgina-ox yeah I'm trying him with that tomorrow got the eggs ready lol xx
@kayleeebeee I'll start doing that for him, want him to have all sorts for breakfast so he's not just having a few options xx
We've used raspberry or blueberry wheaties from Asda, chocolate hoops and chic pillows, porridge and ready break.
I did read you can't really use golden balls which my girl loves now, due to the honey content before one years old.
But I used to make normal cereals add milk and just microwave for 30 secs to make a bit softer for them to do by themselves xx
@kerryy23 didn't even think of using those lol that's such a good idea! xx
@georgina-ox thank you I'll maybe get them for him to try going shopping today xx
@beffgoude yeah I think I'll let him try feed himself, he's pretty good with his hand eye coordination even passes it to one hand then eats lol
I used to buy a box of those puppy training pads from the pound shop and put them down underneath his highchair, was great to just pick them up after and bin them xx
Porridge is easy enough. I used to use ready brek aswell and he loves it even now! X
@nataliielouiseexo yehh it's all about teaching the different textures and that hand eye coordination. I even let dahli' eat porridge herself.
@courtniek98x @samanthaxx I'll try these thank you! never made porridge in my life either 😂😂 xx
@beffgoude I think that's what I'll do let them soak in it for abit, would I let him feed himself with it being blw?
@kerryy23 I've had loads of mess already I thought I would hate it but it makes him smile so 😂😂 xx
You can use any cereal tbh, and if your worried about them being abit hard for him just let them sit in his milk for abit so there softer then give them him.
Yeah just mixed it up and either fed him or let him do it himself some days. Got him used to be able to feed himself quite early. Be prepared for lots of mess 😂😂xx
@kerryy23 I take it you just mixed it for him and let him feed himself? xx
@nataliielouiseexo, I was the same. He used to have a lot of shop bought scotch pancakes, homemade banana/blueberry pancakes, banana porridge fingers, crumpets, toast or cereal as his main part. And I'll give yoghurt and fruit on the side too for a lot of variation and to be a bit healthier xx
