So last Saturday they said I have mastitis and gave me an antibiotic. Felt better for two days, woke up this morning feeling like I had the flu again and wicked pain in that boob that has it. They gave me a stronger antibiotic. Tomo gonna see if I have an abscess. I literally feel like crap. This is the worst. Anyone have any experience with this? Tell me I’m not gonna die lol

I had something similar, though not quite mastitis. Horrible. I moaned myself to sleep. Everything hurt. It was worse than the actual flu. Terrible. Never wanna go through it again. I got lucky and slept it off

@lexiem3, i wonder if that’s what I have going on. I hate the chills and aches. And really hate taking strong antibiotics while breastfeeding bc it’s gonna get through to the baby. It’s awful. How long did it last for you???

@kellywidener820 probably a good 12 hours. It was about 3 hours before I went to bed and I woke up 3 times. The last time I woke up it was basically over

@taylorsmommy1017, oh wow. I’m at the ER now. Maybe I’ll try that. It’s no longer red. It feels on fire and I’m so achy and got the chills. Feels like a bad flu. Hopefully it goes away soon I can’t take it.
