Little high 142/92 when my baseline is usually very low. So they almost sent me to labor & delivery but decided to send me to the OBGYN and double check everything. Got blood drawn & then they gave me steroids Incase Malachi decides to come early! Before 37 weeks. As of Wednesday he was weighing in at 5 pounds 8 ounces so now he’s probably closer to 6. Anyone else had this before? What happened? It was so random & everything seems fine. No protein in urine, no headaches, no cramping. But what are the chances he’ll come early?!

@blgetchell, sounds like they’re preparing you Incase preeclampsia develops and they have to induce early.
@mariapb, yeah got cha, they gave me the first round of steroids yesterday & im getting the rest today. That’s what makes me think there’s a good chance he’s coming early
@blgetchell, no. I was on bp medication and baby aspirin from 20 weeks and monitored closely but was never given steroids or anything.
@mariapb, did they give you the steroids in case he came early?
I had high BP all through my pregnancy and my boy arrived bang on his due date at 40 weeks.
My sister had high blood pressure and swelling but no preeclampsia. She had her baby 39 weeks on the dot.
