Can the midwife write sick notes or does it have to be your doctor? 🤔

At 37wk i dont think thy will give u sick note. Wat about maternity??

@dannie.louise.x My job has messed it all up. I left work at 33 weeks on what was supposed to be holiday but it never went through, I didn't get paid at all from when I left. Seen as it's their mistake they want me to get a sick note to cover what I'm owed. Basically back-date it all with immediate effect. I should be able to get a sick note that states I was unable to work from 33 weeks x

@clarelushx but sick pay is only 90 a week. And thy cant give u sick pay from 39wks. Ur work can put any transaction through for an amount. X

@dannie.louise.x are you sure it's only 90 a week? I'll have to find my work booklet. The sick pay will only be covering what I've already lost. Pay between the 1st of June to the 16th of June. My holiday got added on from the 16th which is already in place now so they couldn't move it back hense why they're trying to cover it with a note x

@clarelushx yhyh 90 a week is sick pay unless u work for nhs which is full pay x
