It depends on the baby my almost 3mo has been holding her head up for about 2 months and she has a b'day twin at my job who still can't really hold up her head.
My 2 month old has been holding her held up for awhile now. Don’t worry about the holding it really does just come to you the first few days you will feel like you are gonna break them but after that you just naturally handle them

I’m scared of the new born stage for that reason. I’m scared of not supporting her enough or not holding her right
