Was shopping with my daughters grandma and we saw a woman breastfeeding in public she was disgusted…

It's an ignorant person thing. this really upsets me since I'm a breastfeeding mother myself.

Did you try to make her see that it’s normal? Baby is hungry = baby eating.

@mckallalynn.. me too. It is sad bc thats how the Lord made us, he made our body to create a human life and to supply the baby with food, why not use it. Its how it was done in the old days, why is it such a big deal now days?

Two if you count the woman who called the police on me, I never met her though 😅 My grandma is completely cool with it. Her husband too. But I’m not cool with having my boob out with male relatives around 😅🙈

It’s an older person thing. My grandma and her sister were uncomfortable with me breastfeeding in front of them. They didn’t know anything about breastfeeding. But they kindly explained that back in their day people thought formula was better for babies and no one really breastfed. They weren’t rude about it though.

@malbhurtado, I agreee completely it didn’t bother me I was so embarrassed for her that I saw though which made me feel weird🤷🏽‍♀️ idk I also don’t feel comfortable doing it in public it’s a private thing and then having to fight to get a latch like that lady was doing she was struggling to get that booby in lol she was just all naked flopping around and trying to stab the baby just right👀 makes me anxious thinking about it plenty of places have nursing rooms though I’d use those

- Yeah, so let me paint you a picture. I’m in my moms mom van. Tinted windows. You know those mesh things people put up ? Sun blockers for babies ? So this mom van has them built in. They come up from the door. So I’m sitting in her van at the mall, feeding my little dude. This is my thing, I’m modest, but if you try hard enough to see something, you’ll see it 🤷🏻‍♀️ .. anywho, these two lovely ladies called the police. So when the officer walks up, I roll down the window, only goes down halfway, and we start cracking up. First of all, this officer was my old partner. I wasn’t doing anything illegal. And we cracked up over the call. He was expecting a nudist 😅😅😅💀 nothing happened, other than some p’d off girls. So nothing happen. We caught up, he burped my son 😅💙

Wow ! Such a shame! Lucky for me I never gave a damn. Whenever my baby was hungry I’d pull my boob out and not give a damn where we were. I never even looked around to see if ppl were looking. For me it was always a proud moment and I actually preferred for ppl to see so that that could witness such beauty. Nothing disgusting about it. Baby is hungry. Baby eats ! Simple ! It’s what our bodies were made to do.

The ONLY time a stranger said something to me was when I was walking around walmart and my son would not calm down. I put my cover on and fed him walking around. You could tell what I was doing but can't see anything. An elder lady stopped and asked if I was nursing my baby and that I was doing a great thing for him! I'm happy it was a nice comment and not rude lol
