10 month old has been having bad diarrhea for a whole day. His bum is really red, he throbs when i put lotion. Anyone recommend anything?

A&D ointment. It's the only thing that worked for my daughter. She would bleed after one hour bc it was so bad. I hope your little one feels better. Maybe aquaphor will help as well!
