Kinda werid question but has anyone successfully breast fed with inverted inside out type nipples? Mine are like in between normal and inside out and wondering how much difficult it is, I gave up easily with my first but really want to try and breastfed this baby really bad.

I had a lot of trouble. The only way I could breastfeed is with a nipple shield

I heard some women start with a nipple shield and then eventually they’re able to quit the shield. Or they lightly pinch and pull their nipples outwards

I seen those does the baby latch onto nipple shields pretty easily and easy to use?

@butterflymomma22, yes! Easy to use and they worked great for me. You just have to find the right size for you. Only annoying thing is they have to be washed after every use. So if that’s the route you go make sure you pick up a couple

Based on your description I imagine we are very similar, I was successful with my son but it took time and I had to pump/nurse for a while at the beginning, once he was a bit older a couple weeks he was bigger and it was easier to get him to latch and pull the nipple out by himself. Also pumping helps pull them out. I’m not going to lie it was a lot of work but totally worth it in my opinion

Mine arent inverted, but they are flat. It was hard at first but we have no issues at 10.5 months. Just keep trying, the start will be hard but try to power through if possible

Thank you for the input mommas!! Praying it clicks and I don't give up so easy.
