Parents who have their babies dummies . How old were they when u introduced it to them??? X

The hospital gave my baby one without my knowledge at 4 days old. He was in nicu for antibiotics and when I was having a shower they gave him one to shut him up basically. We've had no problems and it's been a life saver a few times when he's being fussy and just doesn't want anything. They recommend not til 6-8 weeks though so you can establish breastfeeding properly

Day they were born with both my boys. And I’ve successfully breastfed my youngest, still am feeding him.

@gen87 yeah I don't think I've ever heard of it actually affecting anyone successfully breastfeeding. As far as I've seen it's fine

When they were born he was formula fed and I believe it can help reduce sids x

When she was born in the hospital, I love seeing a baby with a dummy but she isn't even bothered about her dummy and doesn't even need it x
