Ladies, I'm sorry for maybe a stupid question, I'm 21+6 and wondering whether it's okay to sleep on my back? Back isn't hurting and it's very comfortable 🙇🏼♀️ xx

They say not to sleep on ur back as it puts pressure on the vessels in the womb of I can remember correctly which can cause blood flow problems x

I don't sleep on my back anymore as when I did I'd have achey pains in the morning where baby is 😬 @sashago xxx
Elle Taylor·
Id like to know this too as I’ve been waking up on my back. Have heard about blood flow issue but I think that’s more important further along x
Sasha·
@7littlegems, yeah I heard that but I thought it's okay if I don't have any pains 🤔 x
.·
@sashago, not that I’m
Aware off x
Sasha·
@nicolemariehooperxo, oh I got used to sleeping on my back so much and it's way more comfortable. My back gets tired during the day and then it feels so good to relax on my back 🙈xx
Sasha·
@elletaylor, yeah that's what I thought. I guess when the baby is heavier - it gets uncomfortable to sleep on the back 🤔 xx
Chloe-Anne·
When the baby gets heavier and presses on your spine it can reduce blood flow and they tell you to sleep on your left side because that’s when blood flow is at its best and that’s why baby is more active when you lay on the left. You can lay on your back but not for too long xx
Sasha·
@chloeanne3005, oh wow didn't know that, thank you hun xx
Chloe-Anne·
@sashago, No problem 😊 xx
