Starting to not want anymore kids my bf I know will be disappointed cause he wants a son and I do as well but I don’t want to have another c section I really just don’t want to go through that again its traumatizing and depressing I just don’t want to go through that again

Can’t you try for a VBAC? I had a c section and my midwives said I can try for a vaginal birth next time. Also, did you go through labour and then have a c section or was it scheduled?

I’ve known plenty of women to have successful vbac’s. I also went through labour and then had a c section, and the recovery is definitely awful. But, the recovery from a planned c section is a lot easier.

@em.schultz0, for me I feel it’s all the same either way I’m getting cut open and I feel it’s not gonna be any easier if I know it’s gonna happen or not I absolutely hate the fact that I had a c section

@jadasweet0218, but not going through labour will make a huge difference in how you feel afterward. By the way, the percentage for successful vbacs here is around 70%. You definitely have to be a good candidate for a vbac beforehand though.
