Getting your tubes tied better than being on birth control? 🤔

As far as effectiveness? Probably about the same. They can grow back and it raises the risk for ectopic pregnancy.

Hormonal changes? I’ve heard women say it helped regulate periods and some say it messed them up.

I thought it would be. I had several issues with birth control and so I had my tubes tied and now I have the worst pain I have ever felt in my life when I have periods and my period went from 5-6 days to about 12-14 days and it’s very very heavy bleeding. I never was told to watch out for any of these things. I have hormone issues because of the tubal now also.

@babymamaof4 I'm so sorry to hear that. I've been debating on getting them tied. I currently have the Nexplanon and I hate it.

@starr86, it’s not everyone that has the adverse effects but I didn’t know anything about them so I suggest you doing some more research into it

If you're sure you're done having kids then yes in my opinion. I had my two that I wanted and then got mine tied and I love it! No worries and no BC making me sick. My hubby even got snipped so we are double sure😂
