So it doesnt matter if you or his dad are lactose intolerant. It doesnt mean he is. But my son was like that I put him on Gerber soothe and no more gas. And try gripe water it helped with my daughter. And it's safe for little babies.

@quincysmommmmy_ give him a tiny tiny bit of water, because it sounds like he keeps getting constipated. I had to give my daughter water when she was a month and it was less then an ounce. Because you dont want to fill his tummy up with water. Just a little bit should be okay.

@quincysmommmmy_, if constipation is the problem ... it is highly possible that soy will actually make it worse

@quincysmommmmy_, it honestly just depends on your baby. When my daughter was having this issue we did half ounce of prune juice and half water as recommended by her pediatrician. If you’re looking to switch formula I would suggest a hypoallergenic option rather than soy.

@kissesz30, recommend something because I’m all new at this & im current atm really sad. Because my baby is just crying & really fussy he poops maybe twice or three times a day. But when he try’s it hurts him so bad. But it does come out. Now that Im thinking abt it , it might not be constipation. He’s just really fussy & gassy

My son is gassy but not to this point he is on progestmilk it’s hypoallergenic like @kissesz30, Said but it’s by prescription have a talk with your pedi to see if that may help. I hope little one feels better soon !

@quincysmommmmy_, Nutramigen ... Similac Alimentum but I think you should speak to his pediatrician before you switch his formula. I know it’s hard seeing your baby in pain but don’t be hard on yourself. Motherhood is a learning process... 4 kids later and I’m still learning along the way. Try to walk in to the doctors office or call them and see what they say.

@quincysmommmmy_, When 2 of my kids were diagnosed with a milk allergy they had projectile vomiting as a symptom. That’s why I think you should speak to the pediatrician first because it may just be constipation.
