I didn't tie mine either at 27 because I wasn't sure if I wanted another one but wanted to have the option. I wanted by early thirties too l and that didn't happen. I got pregnant at 38 and turned 39 a month after conception. I never expected that I would after 35 so as much as we plan certain things God's plan may differ than ours. But I do understand that you have a preference 😉

@starting_over39 in my case I'm 25 and never planned on going past 30. But after this breakup I've realized things never really go as planned and I know one day I would like to get married. 32 is my cut off because when I'm 50, all of my kids will be grown (if I have another one at exactly 32, they will be 18) and that's when I can travel and enjoy all the things I was unable to do in my 20s since I had my first when I was 19.

@jleona well I can relate because I had my first child at 20 turned 21 a month later. I got married to my current husband and had my last little one.. Wasn't planning on it but she's a blessing and having older kids with a little one is somewhat easier because I have alot of help and babysitters 😂. We went to 🇯🇲 for 12 days no kids. It hasn't really changed my life by much except a toddler running around.. But in two years she'll be in preschool 🤗

@starting_over39 does your husband have any kids?

Yup.. His oldest is 23 his son is 16 and youngest 9.. Then we have one together so in total 6 but two of our kids are adults 🤗

@starting_over39 how often are his kids with you guys? Do your 14 year old and his 16 year old get along? I know for sure when I start dating I want someone who has at least one child.

His 16yr old is the only one of his children that lives with us his mom is in England. My oldest is home for the month of July but he has his dorm that he'll be returning to in August and my 14yr old daughter lives with us. So 16, 14 and toddler at home.

At first they got along but when we all moved together it was rough patch but we didn't let them destroy us we stood united because we knew why they were behaving the way they did. They get along great now and you couldn't tell they are step siblings at all 🙌🏽
