Okay ladies when I was little my paw paw use to make chocolate gravy, anyone ever have it?? Looking for a recipe cause…

I had it last summer while on vacation in Pigeon Forge TN but I’ve never made it. It was yummy

@rebelprincesz24, My MIL makes this! I don’t care for biscuits and chocolate gravy but my SO and kids love it... I might be the weird one lol but here’s here recipe!

1/3 stick of butter

2/3 cup of sugar

2 tablespoons of all purpose flour

1/3 cup of Cocoa

2 cups of whole milk

Heat butter in a cast iron skillet on low heat. Mix in the sugar,flour and cocoa. Slowly pour 1 cup of milk into skillet and whisk well to remove lumps. Stir in remaining milk,stirring constantly,until mixture is thick,be careful not to scorch. Serve hot over biscuits❤️

I make this every Christmas morning! I add some cinnamon to my recipe and it’s delish!
