@laniejay, That’s so awesome to hear that your little man is doing so well!! 23 weeks is so early! That’s almost unheard of! That just proves how good breastmilk is for our little ones! 10 months is still amazing! I’m worried because one of the few reasons we had to have IVF was ovulation issues so I’m worried that my hormones are screwed up.
@morgan1143, he’s doing amazing now at 4. He’s a miracle in every aspect. 1st round of IVF, only 1 usable embryo at time of transfer, and then born at 23+1 with a “1% chance on a hope and a prayer” of the outcome we had. No disabilities and no delays. Just reflux and some sensory issues. Breastmilk played a huge role in his survival - I’ve not heard of IVF affecting it, but I never looked into it. I’ve had a term baby (a natural pregnancy 🙌🏼) since then and I was able to bf until 15 months when he decided to wean. So I’d like to think if my preemie had been able to breastfeed, I would have made it longer.
