Ugh. We're at the in laws for mils sisters b day. This is the house that EVERYBODY goes to, so they have a huge bonus room for toys that's been collected from the time SO was little, excess Christmas toys, etc. It's the room where every toy is everybody's.

Well, ds was playing with a little nerf gun from that room, shooting fil, both having a blast! The little bullet dropped into the bacon pan and we set the gun down to clean it. As we were doing that 10yo sil takes the gun saying she has to clean it and put it away cause she doesn't want ds making messes with "her" toys

What? He's 3? Is he not allowed to have fun? Fil had absolutely no problem with it, but she's allowed to be snotty over what ds can and can't play with. I can't say anything cause she's not my kid nor is my house, but seriously let a 3yo be a 3yo. Don't get me wrong, I like her, but she gets so uptight over things she shouldn't.
