I would definitely go get it checked I had surgery in April and I got 2 infections and I just had to have surgery again to open it up and wash it out and have the bones scraped to get all the infection out. I had the bottom few bones of my tail bone removed during my first surgery. Then I had to spend a week in the hospital getting iv antibiotics so please go get checked out!

I used dial antibacterial soap on mine

I didn’t have an infection and mine did this. I would call though just to make sure!

I would call. Mines did the same thing and even had a foul smell. I called the nurse line and they told me to gently cleanse it with antibacterial warm water, pat dry and use gauge wraps to keep it dry. I cleaned mines, pat it dry and used a hair blow dryer to dry mines and then fold a Maxi pad and stuck it in my fat flap to keep it dry. . Lol. I got the idea from another mama on this app and my incision healed in days. Such a blessing for this app and all the great mamas.

I just realized that our babies are about the same in weeks... my son was born on June 13. I believe that if i could had kept my incision more dry at the very beggining then it would had healed in less then a week and a half after surgery, but because I didn't it just healed like 2 days ago. Keep it as dry as you can dear it would really speed up the healing process.

@bbyzvcy18, I think cuz I was sweating so much yesterday maybe. It’s only like an inch of the incision that’s leaking or anything and kinda red and irritated. The rest looks healed up and great
