I'm sick to my stomach seeing all the babies getting over fed. Their stomachs are tiny! My boys…

Lol I will post this again and again... all children are different. ALL! My child was born 9 pounds 4oz... you’re going to tell me he’s going to eat only 4oz of food? Lol I don’t think so... and when I did try that, he would literally SCREAM until I gave him more but I don’t blame you for thinking that way because everyone I told how much he was eating would freak out.... except for his doctor, thank god he thinks a little different and understands my child was a little bigger than the “normal” child. Don’t always judge a book by its cover... happy Sunday!

@depp100 I agree. My daughter ate 2ozs since birth. She's 3mths now & as of last week she's jumped up to 4ozs. Her pediatrician ask at every visit how much she eats & how often and I've never been told it's too much. When it comes to feeding "every child is different" definitely applies.

my son still eats 2-3oz bottles every 2-3 hours and he's 9m 20lbs. But yeaaahhhh I guess every child is different 🤷🏽‍♀️

@chakira, @depp100, more or less talking about mom's wondering why their babies are fussy after giving them three or four ounces when they are like two weeks to a month old or spitting up a lot after four ounces and I'm just like 🤦🏼‍♀️

You cannot overfeed a newborn. They will eat as much as they can. And if theyre spitting up often its not so much from too much food but from their reflex. My first did it constantly until she was 6 months old. Every pedi ive ever spoken to told me the baby will eat as much as theyre able to, they cannot be overfed. That comes later when theyre old that it becomes an issue. But idk how you can overfeed a toddler, my kid refuses food unless shes hungry 🤷🏼‍♀️

@boymamachronicles, exactly my point... my child and your child can be the same weight but eat totally different... lol my kid was eating 6 oz by the time he was 2 months old!!! I literally tried my hardest to keep him at 4oz not just for his health but the costtttt in formula!!! But he wasn’t having it, he just grows really fast so he needs that extra nutrients. But I do see your point @ecahanes, some people really do over feed them as in them crying and thinking they need more food when it’s actually something else.... sorry I thought you just meant general.

Some formulas are different as well. For example my son eats a predigested formula so it doesn't satisfy him the way others do. He is 3 mths and just went up to 4 Oz because he lost a whole pound in 11 days. So 3 ounces at 3 months meant I was starving him.
